You can take a day trip to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. Founded in 1350, the city grew quickly so that by 1700 it had become the largest city in the world with a total of 1 million residents. The temples and Buddhist statutes are mostly in ruins but the massive site gives you an idea of the city’s scale. Spend the night in Bangkok.

DAY04:

BANGKOK - PHUKET
Transfer to Bangkok airport to board your flight to Phuket. Spend the night in Phuket.

DAY05:

PHUKET
Take a scuba diving course. Sail on a small boat. Or lie on the beach. Spend the night in Phuket.

DAY06:

PHUKET
Enjoy the resort’s activities. Spend the night in Phuket.
