DAY01:

Arrive in Chiang Mai. Take a stroll through the night markets. Spend the night in Chiang Mai.

DAY02:

CHIANG MAI
Take a morning excursion to one of the most finely crafted temples in Thailand, Doi Suthep. The temple is located at 1,053 metres above sea level and dominates the plain of the Chiang Mai Basin. You have a panoramic view of the valley on a clear day. On the way back to the city, visit the artisan district of Sankamphaeng, 13 kilometres east of Chiang Mai. You will meet skilled craftsman making and selling silk cloth, umbrellas, precious stone jewellery, lacquerware and wood products. Spend the night in Chiang Mai.

DAY03:

CHIANG MAI
Leave for an elephant training camp located in the mountains north of Chiang Mai. This is one of the best schools in Southeast Asia. Watch elephants working and playing during their bath in this reserve which seeks to maintain high quality care for the animals. Ride on an elephant for about 50 minutes to the ethnic village of Baan Tong Luang. Continue to an orchid farm where over 150 species of orchids to amaze you with their beauty. Take a bicycle tour of the main temples of the old city including Wat Phra Singh, built in the Lanna or Northern style and Wat Chedi Luang, which housed the country’s most famous statute, the Emerald Buddha (now in Bangkok) during the 15th century. Spend the night in Chiang Mai.
