DAY01:
KATHMANDU
Arrive in Kathmandu. Check into your hotel. Discover the historic city square including the royal palace. Spend the night in Kathmandu.
DAY02:
KATHMANDU
Take a morning flight over the Himalayas to see the best view of the world’s highest mountain range. Visit the Buddhist stupas Swayambhu and Boudha. See the city’s most holy Hindu Temple at Pashupatinath. Spend the night in Kathmandu.
DAY03:
KATHMANDU - POKHARA
Drive to the western city of Pokhara along the beautiful Trisuli River. Marvel at the mountain views in Pokhara while taking a boat trip on Lake Phewa. Spend the night in Pokhara.
DAY04:
POKHARA
Set off on a day hike in the Annapurna mountains. Spend the night in Pokhara.
DAY05:
POKHARA - CHITWAN
Leave Pokhara and travel through valleys and hills to the plains of the Terai. Arrive in Chitwan National Park. Take an afternoon safari on an elephant’s back. Spend the night in Chitwan.
DAY06:
CHITWAN
Take a whole day to explore the World Heritage-listed 932 square metre national park featuring jungle, marshland and grassland habitats. Spend the night in Chitwan.
DAY07:
CHITWAN
Spend a second day in Chitwan and increase your chances of seeing one-horned rhinos, monkeys, deer. If you are lucky you might see leopards and tigers. Spend the night in Chitwan.
DAY08:
CHITWAN - KATHMANDU
Drive back up into the hills and arrive in Kathmandu. Spend the night in Kathmandu.
DAY09:
KATHMANDU - BHAKTAPUR - KATHMANDU
Visit the second ancient city inside Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur. See the 55 Window Palace, an example of the famous Newari wood carved windows. Spend the night in Kathmandu.
DAY10:
KATHMANDU - PATAN - KATHMANDU
Travel to the third ancient city, Patan. Explore the former capital including many temples such as the Krishna Mandir Temple which is still used by residents today. Visit the Patan Temple to see many precious statues and artifacts that have been preserved. Continue to Bungamati and Khokana Villages where you will observe daily life for the Newar ethnic group. Spend the night in Kathmandu.
DAY11:
KATHMANDU
You have a free morning to buy last minute souvenirs in Kathmandu’s famous handicraft shops. You will then be transferred to the airport to board a flight to your next destination.
