DAY01:

KATHMANDU
Arrive in Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and wander the streets. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

DAY02:

KATHMANDU
Take a morning flight over the Himalayas to see the best view of the world’s highest mountain range. Discover the historic centre of Kathmandu including the royal palace plus Buddhist stupas Swayambhu and Boudha. See the city’s most holy Hindu Temple at Pashupatinath. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

DAY03:

KATHMANDU - PATAN - KATHMANDU
Travel to the second of the three ancient cities located in Kathmandu Valley, Patan. Explore the former capital including many temples such as the Krishna Mandir Temple which is still used by residents today. Visit the Patan Temple to see many precious statues and artifacts that have been preserved. Continue to Bungamati and Khokana Villages where you will observe daily life for the Newar ethnic group. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

DAY04:

KATHMANDU - DHULIKHEL OR NAGARKOT
Drive up into the hills on the eastern side of Kathmandu Valley. You will be rewarded with excellent views of the Himalayas and on a clear day, you can see Mount Everest. Spend the night in the mountain villages of Dhulikhel or Nagarkot.

DAY05:

DHULIKHEL OR NAGARKOT - BHAKTAPUR - KATHMANDU
Wake up to watch the sun rise over the Himalayas. On the way back down into the city, visit the third ancient city of Bhaktapur. See the 55 Window Palace, an example of the famous Newari wood-carved windows. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

DAY06:

KATHMANDU
You have a free morning to buy last minute souvenirs in Kathmandu’s famous handicraft shops. You will then be transferred to the airport to board a flight to your next destination.
