DAY01:

GUIYANG
Arrive in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province. Visit the Guizhou Provincial Museum to gain an understanding of the different ethnic groups living in Guizhou. Try some of the delicacies of the province in the city’s night markets. Spend the night in Guiyang.

DAY02:

GUIYANG – KAILI
Drive into the mountains towards the town of Kaili. Stop off at the Miao village of Shiqing to discover how the silk felt is made. Visit Langde Village where they have preserved a large number of old wooden stilt houses. The cottages are multi-storied and are built on an incline as residents adapted their houses to the steep buildings. Spend the night in Kaili.

DAY03:

KAILI - LEISHAN – RONGJIANG
Venture further into the deep mountains. Visit Leigong, the sacred mountain of the Miao where the deity of lightning lives. Travel through many Miao villages along the River Balians to Rongjiang. Experience the rustic simplicity of village life by spending a night in Rongjiang.

DAY04:

RONGJIANG - CONGJIANG – ZHAOXING
Walk along the Conjiang River. Visit Biasha Village, an isolated tribe who lives high in the mountains. The village men still wear daggers on their sides, just as their ancestors did two thousand years later. Arrive in Zhaoxing, a beautiful little village wedged between mountains and rice paddies. Enjoy a Welcoming Ceremony in a traditional wooden house. Spend a night in one of these traditional dwellings in Zhaoxing.

DAY05:

ZHAOXING – SANJIANG
Visit Sanjiang and take a walk through tea plantations and rice fields. Visit the Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge Scenic Area which includes eight Dong villages. Each village contains an impressive drum tower and an opera stage. Spend the night in Sanjiang.

DAY06:

SANJIANG – GUILIN
Travel into the Guangxi province and to the picturesque city of Guilin. Walk up the city’s iconic Elephant Trunk Hill overlooking the Li River. Don’t miss the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas sitting on the Shan Lake. You have the option of taking in a cultural performance at night. Spend the night in Guilin.

DAY07:

GUILIN
Use your free time for a boat trip or last minute shopping before your transfer to the airport for a flight to your next destination.
