DAY01:

XIAMEN- GULANGYU
Arrive in Xiamen. Take a 25 minute ferry ride to Gulangyu Island. Relax on this unique island which was settled by Europeans while Xiamen was a treaty port and to this day, does not have any cars. Spend the night on Gulangyu Island.

DAY02:

XIAMEN - GULANGYU
Stroll the streets and visit historic attractions such as the piano museum and western style gardens. Try some Fujian-style street food and seafood specialties. Relax by walking along the waterside. Spend the night on Gulangyu Island.

DAY03:

GULANGYU - YONGDING
Be introduced to the unique structure of the tulou buildings at Zhangzhou Tianluokeng village where you can see the Four Plates and One Soup cluster of tulous. Have lunch at the peaceful village of Taxia nestled amongst the tulous. Drive to the Hongkeng cluster. Eat a traditional Hakka meal with a family in a tulou. Spend the night nearby in Yongding.

DAY04:

YONGDING - XIAMEN
Visit the Hongkeng tulou buildings. Support the local Hakka families by sampling the local varieties of tea and purchase gift of tea as souvenirs. Return to Xiamen Airport for a flight to your next destination.
