DAY01:

NEW DELHI
Arrive in New Delhi. Spend the night in New Delhi.

DAY02:

NEW DELHI - AGRA
Visit the sites of New Delhi such as the India Gate, the Bahai Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar. In the late afternoon, travel three hours by road to Agra. Spend the night in Agra.

DAY03:

AGRA - JAIPUR
Take an early morning tour of the Taj Mahal, the world famous tomb dedicated to a Mughal princess. Visit the nearby palace of Fatehpur Sikri built by Akbar the Great, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Drive to Jaipur. Spend the night in Jaipur.

DAY04:

JAIPUR
Discover the capital of Rajasthan including the rider to the Amber Fort on elephant back. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace and the Palace of the Winds. Spend the night in Jaipur.

DAY05:

JAIPUR - SAMODE
Spend some time shopping for jewellery, carpets, handmade leather shoes and textiles. Drive one hour to Samode, the ancient Rajput precinct. Samode Palace was initially built in the sixteenth century as a Rajput fort, but in the early 19th century, it was converted from a fort into an exquisitely designed palace. Spend the night in one of the Samode residences.

DAY06:

SAMODE - JAIPUR - KOCHI
Return to Jaipur, then transfer to Sanganer Airport and fly to Kochi in the southern state of Kerala. It is necessary to fly via a third city so you will arrive in Kochi in the evening. Spend a night in Kochi.

DAY07:

KOCHI
Explore the Fort Kochi area and its history as a colony of Portugal, the Netherlands and Britain. Learn about its importance to the trade of spices, especially pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and sandal wood from the Kochi region Take a boat ride to Mattancherry Island, an ancient trading town. Walk through Jew Town where many Jewish traders settled and built a synagogue. Spend the night in Kochi.

DAY08:

KOCHI - ALLEPEY - HOUSEBOAT
Depart for Allepey port. Board a Kerala style houseboat which has been converted with bedrooms and bathrooms. Navigate the backwaters along the canals. Spend the night on board.

DAY09:

HOUSEBOAT - MARARI
Disembark at 10am and transfer to Marari Beach. Relax in your beach resort. Try an Ayurvedic massage. Spend the night in Mararikulam.

DAY10:

MARARIKULAM
See many varieties of birds on an early morning walk. A naturalist’s paradise, the area boasts 97 species of butterflies, three varieties of turtles, and ten kinds of frogs. Spend the night in Mararikulam.

DAY11:

MARARIKULAM - KOCHI
Transfer to Kochi Airport, only one hour and 15 minutes away, for a flight to your next destination.
